Disney Store: Sales Associate (PT)

Responsibilities

• Ensure Guests have “The Best Retail Experience in the World” by providing an entertaining and magical experience.
• Perform scripted and non-scripted events for Guests.
• Support the Disney Store Mission: “Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages.”
• Engage with Guests using open-ended questions to assess needs and make appropriate suggestions.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that entertains and delights Guests.
• Assist Guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, leveraging resources like Disneystore.com.
• Treat all Guests and Cast Members with respect, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain Disney brand standards in Guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while delivering high-level Guest Service.
• Participate in shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and other operational tasks.
• Uphold company policies as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
• Engage children at their level, allowing them to become part of the story.
• Drive store results by suggesting additional items to Guests to meet their needs.
• Demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor.
• Work effectively as part of a team and receive feedback constructively.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Disney Store grooming guidelines.

Requirements

• Job may require lifting boxes up to 45 lbs. and climbing a ladder.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
• Must be available a minimum of two (2) shifts Monday through Friday and have weekend availability to meet business needs.
• Must be able to verify legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in retail or the service industry (preferred).
• Ability to speak fluently in another language in addition to English (preferred).
• Comfortable storytelling in front of large groups of people (preferred).

Pay

$12.36 per hour.
