Disney Store and DisneyStore.com are the retail merchandising arms of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, extending The Walt Disney Company’s brands to merchandise. Operating in North America, Europe, Japan, and China, they offer high-quality products—including exclusive lines tied to Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic—through physical stores and localized online destinations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver “The Best Retail Experience in the World” by engaging Guests with entertaining and magical interactions.
- Support the Disney Store Mission, “Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages.”
- Connect with Guests using open-ended questions to assess needs and provide tailored suggestions.
- Foster a high-energy, fast-paced environment that entertains and delights Guests.
- Assist Guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, leveraging resources like Disneystore.com.
- Treat all Guests and Cast Members with respect, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Maintain Disney brand standards in Guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
- Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while delivering exceptional Guest service.
- Process shipments, replenish the sales floor, and complete operational tasks as needed.
- Uphold company policies outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, the Employee Policy Manual, and the Code of Business Conduct.
- Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
- Engage children at their level, inviting them into the story.
- Drive store results by suggesting additional items to meet Guest needs.
- Demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor.
- Work effectively as part of a team and receive feedback constructively.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Disney Store grooming guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.
- Flexible availability, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
- Minimum availability of two (2) shifts Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed.
- Legal right to work in the United States (verification required).
- At least 18 years of age.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in retail or the service industry (preferred).
- Fluency in a language other than English (preferred).
- Comfort with storytelling in front of large groups (preferred).
Pay
$12.36 per hour.
