The team values reliability, creativity, and strong customer service, creating an environment where performers can grow their skills and reputations.Role Description The Disk Jockey will perform at weddings, parties, corporate events, and other gatherings, curating playlists and mixing music that aligns with client preferences and event themes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing setlists, transporting and setting up sound equipment, coordinating timelines with event organizers, and acting as an emcee when needed to make announcements and guide event flow. The Disk Jockey will manage sound levels, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a professional presence throughout each event. This is a contract role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Greater Madison Area with some work-from-home tasks such as playlist preparation, client communication, and event planning.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong DJing and Wedding DJ skills, including live mixing and crowd engagement.Candidates should possess solid Music-related skills, such as genre knowledge, song selection, and playlist creation.Candidates should possess confident Emcee abilities, including clear speaking, event hosting, and audience interaction.Candidates should possess practical Sound skills, including basic audio engineering, equipment setup, and volume balancing.Reliable transportation to venues in the Greater Madison Area and ability to handle equipment safely.Strong time management, punctuality, and professionalism in client and guest interactions.Previous experience performing at events (weddings, parties, or corporate functions) is highly beneficial.Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
