Responsibilities

• Curate and mix music playlists
• Read the crowd and maintain an energetic, engaging atmosphere
• Cook with clients and event planners to understand timelines, preferred music styles, and special requests
• Operate professional sound and lighting equipment
• Perform emcee duties such as introductions and announcements
• Ensure smooth transitions during key moments
• Timely setup and breakdown of equipment
• Adhere to event schedules
• Represent C West Entertainment with a professional and customer-focused attitude

Qualifications

• Strong DJing abilities with experience in live event mixing and playlist curation
• Solid knowledge of Music across genres and the ability to read and adapt to audience preferences
• Emcee skills, including clear public speaking, crowd engagement, and managing event flow
• Wedding DJ experience, including familiarity with ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception timelines
• Sound skills, including basic audio engineering, operating mixers, microphones, and PA systems
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and punctuality for on-site events
• Comfort working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
• Reliable transportation to venues across the Greater Phoenix Area
• Experience with event production, lighting, or entertainment coordination is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members and maintain a customer-focused approach
