About Us

Givens-Aldersgate is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community. At our core, we're a senior housing organization with a lot of heart, committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across Western North Carolina for more than 40 years. We currently have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.

Schedule

• Full-Time: Weekdays/Weekends: 10:30 am to 8:30 pm
• Full-Time (Asbury): Weekdays: 12-hour shifts (3 shifts), 7 am to 7 pm; Weekend: 6-hour shift (1 shift), 7 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 7 pm
• Part-Time: Weekdays/Weekends: 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while meals are being served and assist residents during mealtime(s)
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, café, fine dining areas, and dish room
• Uphold sanitation and cleanliness expectations of the culinary department

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply
• Experience is not required; training will be provided in a supportive and inclusive environment

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
