Givens Highland Farms, a premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, is looking for a PRN Dishwasher to help support our Independent Living dining team. The primary purpose of your position is to perform service work to attain sanitary dish washing procedures, cleaning of equipment, and to assure that the highest degree of quality care will be provided to our residents at all times. What You'll Do Ensure all dish room equipment is in good working conditionComplete all opening and closing duties as assignedComplete all assigned weekly cleaning list responsibilitiesOrganize and set-up dish room areaMaintain clean working environmentAssist in the assembly and completion of meals, and deliver meals to the dining areas & residents as requiredSweep & Mop area on a daily basis to maintain required sanitary standardsPerform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor. What You'll Need High School or GED equivalent is preferredPrefer on-the-job four (4) weeks of supervised trainingWorking knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparationMust know or have the ability to handle and operate equipment in assigned area Compensation is $17.00-$18.50 per hour based on background and experience Still curious about what Givens is all about?
