Dishwasher - The Greystone

About the Role

The Greystone Inn, a historic lakeside resort in Lake Toxaway, NC, is seeking a professional, friendly, and fast-paced Dishwasher to join our Culinary team. Located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, the inn offers a unique work environment with exceptional hospitality and a focus on personalized guest service.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, and put away all dishes, pots, pans, trays, silver, and utensils using an automatic dishwasher or 3-compartment sink.
• Stock, store, and organize assigned areas according to established procedures.
• Stock purchase order items as they arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish room, walk-in refrigerator/freezer, glassware, flatware, porcelain storage, and food storage areas.
• Assist with food preparation as directed when other duties do not require attention.
• Follow all health and safety practices and procedures as outlined by the company.
• Empty garbage cans, sweep, mop, and perform other closing duties.

Requirements

• Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Must demonstrate a positive, upbeat, and customer-focused attitude.
• Interest in growth within the Culinary department is a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days.
