Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and small wares according to Health Department standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, stainless steel surfaces, and dishwashing stations.
- Stock, organize, and properly store plateware, small wares, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain staff restrooms according to the scheduled cleaning routine.
- Assist chefs and the kitchen team with supportive projects and culinary needs as assigned.
- Help create a clean, safe, efficient environment where exceptional hospitality can happen.
Requirements
- A dependable, hands-on approach and the ability to work with urgency and care.
- Basic sanitation knowledge and an understanding of dishwashing procedures and Health Department standards.
- A Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card/Certification.
- Food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Strong integrity, honesty, and a willingness to pitch in wherever the team needs support.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak, listen, read, and write in English; bilingual abilities are welcome.
- A professional appearance appropriate for a four-diamond resort environment.
