Dishwasher - State Farm Arena

About the role

This position is available at State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants and is part-time, working evening and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Helps load and unload supplies and product

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of food service experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and stand for long periods of time
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is a plus, but not required
• Understanding of basic sanitation and safety standards
• Willingness to take direction and assist with kitchen cleaning tasks
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour. This is not a tipped position.
