About the role

The Dishwasher at RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment, as well as transporting food, china, and equipment between storage and work areas.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes food from dirty dishes, racks china, glassware, and flatware, and washes by hand or using a dishwashing machine.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, and trays.
• Transports supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Returns all clean kitchen utensils and equipment to proper storage locations.
• Cleans kitchen equipment.
• Maintains close communication with supervisor, including reporting supply needs and equipment maintenance issues.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage, placing it in designated containers.
• Takes out trash and recycling.
• Cleans and maintains interior and exterior trash areas.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Loads and/or unloads trucks picking up or delivering food and supplies.
