Required to keep a clean and adequate supply of dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans for the restaurant following the Brands specifications in a timely manner while maintaining the safety, sanitation, and security of the dish room and equipment. Works in assigned restaurant location as determined by management Responsibilities: Cleans sanitizes, and organizes all kitchen and restaurant areas, including walk-in coolers, freezers, storage areas, floors, brass, and stainless steel according to MCA specificationsTransports dirty dishes to the dish room and transports clean dishes back to assigned areasDetermines when guests have completed their meals and remove dirty dishes, flatware, and napkinsSets up, runs, and empties dish machineCleans sanitizes, and de-limes dish machineScrubs all pots, pans, and trays in proper 3-bowl sink setupWashes all items 100% clean the first time, every timeRestocks all cleaning products prior to running outMaintains a clean, neat, and organized dish areaCleans and maintains commissary prep area (e.g. utensils, prep table, prep sinks, equipment, floors, walls, and any back of the house area, etc.)Communicates any product/chemical runouts, equipment issues, and quality and service issues to the MOD and chef immediatelyAid in moving and installation of beer, wine, and cocktail kegsAssists kitchen as neededStocks and organizes newly delivered itemsFollows all company safety, sanitation, and security policies and proceduresProperly uses personal protective equipmentReport maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a MOD immediatelyMaintain and care for company equipment according to instructions and manufacturer requirementsCommunicate with others using clear, respectful, and professional languageDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with others and work toward the goal of customer satisfactionAssists other crewmembers as needed; is aware of and alerts other crewmembers of customer's needsMaintains knowledge of airport, terminal, and restaurants; offers information, recommendations, MCA and Brand history, etcMaintains a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance and adheres to all uniform and appearance guidelinesSweeps and mops as neededPerforms additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the chef or MOD at any time Qualifications Demonstrated pleasant attitude and energyProfessional demeanor, appearance, and communication skills in accordance with restaurant guidelinesPrior dishwashing experience in a similar concept or restaurant preferredDemonstrated knowledge of and certification within 90 days for all required local, state, and federal health, safety, and sanitation lawsUnderstanding of proper use and maintenance of dish machineAbility to take direction and work in a team environmentAbility to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shiftAbility to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularlyEffective and professional oral communication skillsAbility to read work procedures, recipes, safety procedures, and operating directionsAbility to maintain a safe and clean work areaKnowledge and adherence to MCA policies and procedures Knowledge and adherence to all airport rules and regulations Commitment to service of customers, staff, co-workers, and management High integrity and honesty, Work Ethic, passion, and commitment Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Follow through and dependability Powered by JazzHR 5LMyGi6J45
