Dishwasher PM SHIFT - United Center

Job Summary

This union position is based at the United Center—the largest arena in the United States—located on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. Home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and the Chicago Bulls (NBA), the United Center also hosts concerts and various live events. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all back-of-house areas to support daily operations and event readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all assigned areas.
• Operate equipment safely; report any malfunctions or hazards.
• Handle equipment responsibly to minimize wear and ensure proper function.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Ensure workspaces for team members remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by kitchen leadership.

Physical Demands

• May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands or arms for up to 1/3 of the workday.
• May be required to walk for 1/3 to 2/3 of the day and stand, talk, hear, use hands to handle or feel, taste, or smell for 2/3 or more of the day.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds for up to 1/3 of the day and as little as 10 pounds for 2/3 or more of the day.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure documents.
• Basic math skills.
• Sound reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
