Dishwasher - Part Time

About the role

Puff ‘n Stuff Catering is looking for dependable and motivated dishwashers to join our warehouse team and help us "passionately perfect life's celebrations." As a dishwasher you will prepare, wash, and dry dishes, glassware, and flatware using industrial dishwashing machinery. This job is fast-paced and requires strong time management to work as efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of dishwashing equipment
• Recognize all types of glassware, plate ware, and flatware
• Sort, organize, and stock equipment back on appropriate shelves
• Recognize defects in the washing process and work toward solutions
• Work independently or as a member of a team as needed
• Respond well to directions
• Report directly to the management team as concerns or situations arise
• Perform kitchen cleaning responsibilities, including but not limited to sweeping, floor scrubbing, and equipment cleaning
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to sudden changes
• Flexible schedule
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly over long hours
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Able to stand for long hours
• Applicable experience in a dishwashing position preferred
