About the role

A reliable and hardworking Dishwasher is needed to join our kitchen team, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to support smooth kitchen operations and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using commercial dishwashers or manual washing methods, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage spaces; clean and sanitize dishwashing equipment regularly.
• Dispose of trash and recycling according to hotel policies.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in designated areas, ensuring neat organization and accessibility for kitchen staff.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, organizing supplies) and keep kitchen workstations clean.
• Notify supervisors when kitchen supplies (e.g., dish soap, sanitizers, cleaning products) are running low; assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure clean dishes and utensils are always available for food preparation and service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to support operational flow.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.

Schedule

Full-time position with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
