About the role

This position supports high-volume kitchen and restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils
• Clean and maintain all trash bins; deposit kitchen and dish room garbage in dumpsters
• Keep floors clean, free of spills, food, and trash
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area
• Ensure proper rotation of all dishes, pots, pans, and storage bins, including lifting up to 40 lbs
• Maintain Koko’s Bavarian safety and sanitation standards
• Organize and maintain storage of all dishware
• Comply with applicable Health Codes by ensuring all eating/cooking utensils are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly
• Assist other employees as needed
• Perform all opening and closing duties
• Maintain sanitation and safety compliance

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and restaurant environment
• Extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques
• Work authorization in the U.S. that does not require employer sponsorship for a visa
• COVID-19 vaccination required for this position, subject to legally valid exemptions
