Dishwasher - Kitchen

About the role

Part-time dishwasher position responsible for ensuring dishes are properly cleaned for food service. Schedule: afternoon/evenings Friday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Fill sinks with proper cleaning solutions and change as needed
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, etc.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out trash
• Run any dirty dishes or unclean plates/utensils through dishwasher
• Return all plates to front service area and place on proper shelves
• Keep broom and clean mop ready in case of accidents or spills in both front and back of house
• Clean all counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases, and dining areas
• Break down all cardboard boxes
• Check, clean, and restock bathrooms
• Pull up mats from the floor, sweep area, and mop both front and back of house
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by manager

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus

Workplace Environment

Kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
