About the role

As a Janitor/Dishwasher at Chuy’s, you play a crucial role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly, safely, and looking as fresh as our famous tortillas. You ensure every guest enters a spotlessly clean and welcoming environment and that our kitchen team has everything they need to prepare and serve delicious food quickly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the restaurant’s facilities, including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
• Prepare and maintain kitchenware and equipment.
• Ensure the kitchen is organized and ready for the next shift.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up for special events and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques.
