Dishwasher FT

About the Role

This position involves washing pots, pans, and dishes, maintaining floors, and assisting with general cleaning and sanitation. You may also be asked to prep food and maintain storage areas and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as directed
• Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required
• Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner
• Assist with the setup of events and deliver food in collaboration with the catering team
• Work well under time restraints and support the Chef, culinary team, and dish room operators as needed
• Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures

Requirements

• Knowledge of HACCP practices for handling dishware and food deliveries
• Passion for customer service
• Positive attitude and dependability
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment
• Ability to understand and follow direction from chefs and managers
• Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client managers
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
• Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
• Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
• Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $18 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
