Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment and handle ingredients.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare food products and maintain inventory with associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily, including sanitizing kitchen areas and removing garbage.
• Assist with dining room service, such as readying customer orders.
• Set up and run dishwashing operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation logs are maintained.
• Ensure hand sinks are stocked with paper towels and soap.
• Process orders over the phone and in person.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Verbal and written communication skills to follow and give instructions.
• Motor coordination for rapid, precise movements (e.g., food preparation).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in work areas).
• Tolerance for fumes, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters.
• Ability to handle hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Must be able to talk and hear on the phone, with near/mid-range vision for tasks.
• Ability to direct activities, work under stress, and meet quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks performed while standing on ceramic tile or linoleum.
• Walking: Short distances for brief durations.
• Lifting: Cases of ingredients/supplies up to 50 lbs., stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs., 7 oz.), pizza sauce (30 lbs.), and trays of dough (12 lbs. per tray).
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies (up to 7.5 lbs. of force).
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at pizza assembly station and front counter.
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally for stocking or cleaning.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward).
• Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination for shaping dough, using pizza peel, cutting tools, and assembling boxes.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather when performing outside tasks (e.g., trash removal).
• Sudden temperature changes in work areas.
• Use of tools/equipment: pencils, computers, phones, calculators, pizza cutters, and peels.
