Dishwasher - Edgar's Hospitality Group (All CSRA Venues)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Instructs in the subject of “work” to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance.
• Teaches others through your own work ethic and passion for quality.
• Washes and stores properly all dishes, eating utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, and other equipment for the department.
• Maintains the dish pit area and dish machine in a sanitary, safe, and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Prior dishwashing experience in a large-volume commercial kitchen.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and public relations.
• Ability to work with a team or individually.
• Ability to recognize the importance of contributing to a team environment and support other team members to provide excellence to customers.
• Familiar with principles of safety and sanitation.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS

• High School diploma or equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• The needs of the hospitality department dictate the ability to work a flexible schedule to coincide with the needs of various events.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand for long periods;
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Frequent bending, lifting, stooping, and carrying of equipment, bus boxes, trays, and other objects.
• Ability to work in hot, damp environments.
