Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dishwashing areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized.
- Ensure timely availability of clean dishware and utensils for Culinary staff to use.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
- Aid in keeping the kitchen and storage areas stocked with necessary supplies.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Completes prep duties, including washing dishes, taking inventory, and restocking supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment.
- Follow established safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage.
- Work with Kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Assist with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events.
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- This position may require the following valid certifications, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
- Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and ascending/ descending stairs as necessary
- Perform repetitive tasks as required in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment.
