Dishwasher/Bakery Assistant

Job Duties

• Washing all dishes, keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
• Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
• Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash and taking to dumpster
• Other general cleaning

• Good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet several hours at a time

Qualifications

• While no formal education or work experience is required, previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus

Skills

• Able to understand written and oral directions
• Able to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds)
• Able to evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards
• Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
• Diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Pay

Pay range is based on experience.

Schedule

• Scheduled 15-25 hours per week Monday-Saturday
• Shifts times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-3pm) or midday (10am-4pm or 11am-5pm)
• Hours and days are flexible
