Schedule

Part-time dishwashers will be scheduled 15–25 hours per week, Monday–Saturday. Shifts may vary but typically include morning (8:30 am–3:00 pm) or midday (10:00 am–4:00 pm or 11:00 am–5:00 pm). Hours and days are flexible.

Responsibilities

• Washing all dishes and keeping all walls, floors, shelves, and surfaces clean
• Assisting the Baker and Froster with daily tasks and other departments as needed
• Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash, and taking it to the dumpster
• Performing other general cleaning

Note: This position requires good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet for several hours at a time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to understand written and oral directions and apply them to job responsibilities
• Capacity to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require lifting items up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
• Skill in evaluating processes, information, and surroundings to ensure compliance with standards
• Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
• Diligence, organization, and self-motivation with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• No formal education or work experience required
• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant, or foodservice environment is a plus
