Join Weavers Way as a Dishwash We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Dishwasher in our Germantown location. This position is Part-Time with an anticipated 20-29 hours per week. Open availability is required. Responsibilities Responsible for kitchen sanitation and clean upWeekend work requirements as determined by managerAssist with quarterly inventoriesEnsure all dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to Department of Health standardsSort and replenish clean dishes in their designated areasDispose of trash in designated containersLight maintenance of kitchen and dish equipment while reporting any malfunctions to managementPerform other duties as assigned by the Fresh Foods Manager or Manager on Duty This position involves direct handling of common allergens, including dairy, wheat, tree nuts, seafood, fish, and sesame. Requirements Commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.Proficient knife skillsSome retail, restaurant experience preferred Direct customer service experienceKnowledge of safe food handlingExhibited ability to work well in a team settingProven ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment when necessaryKnowledge of prepared foods and an exhibited enthusiasm for foodBe, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op. Salary Description $17.00 per hour
