About the Role
The Twin Peaks Dishwasher is a crucial position in the Heart of the House, responsible for quickly and efficiently cleaning all dishes, glassware, and silverware according to procedures, including Twin Peaks Beer Mugs used for serving 29-degree draft beer.
Uniform Requirements
- Clean TP black hat worn facing forward at all times; brim never bent
- Hair kept clean and fully underneath the TP hat
- Clean shaven; beards and mustaches allowed if well-maintained
- Fingernails trimmed
- No jewelry in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists
- No headphones or ear buds
- Clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in
- Belt required
Responsibilities
- Adhere to uniform standards and restaurant policies/procedures to maintain a clean and sanitized environment
- Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
- Follow Heart of House (HOH) Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Train using tablets or computers
- Perform opening and closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables
- Complete any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- No specific academic qualifications required
- Prior experience and knowledge of food preparation and kitchen maintenance preferred
- Ability to communicate in English and understand cleaning/sanitization policies and procedures
- Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables
Training & Certifications
- Must attend orientation and agree to Twin Peaks policies and procedures
- Must complete the training program before working unsupervised
- Must complete any additional required training (e.g., food/alcohol service certifications per local/state regulations)
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle objects or controls, and communicate
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
