Dishwasher

About the Role

The Twin Peaks Dishwasher is one of the most crucial job functions in the Heart of the House. Dishwashers quickly and efficiently clean all dishes, glassware, and silverware per procedures, including Twin Peaks Beer Mugs used to serve the famously cold 29-degree draft beer.

Uniform Requirements

• Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times; brim never bent
• Hair must be kept clean and underneath the TP hat
• Clean shaven; beards and mustaches allowed but must be maintained
• Fingernails must be kept trimmed
• No jewelry in ears, face, around the neck, or wrists
• No headphones or ear buds
• Clean, non-faded/wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in
• Belt is required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to uniform standards
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant
• Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
• Ensure Heart of House Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
• Work as a team
• Train using tablets or computer
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform any other duty or responsibility assigned by management
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables

Qualifications

• No specific academic qualifications required
• Prior experience and knowledge of food preparation and kitchen maintenance preferred
• Ability to communicate in English
• Must understand policies and procedures for cleaning and sanitizing a restaurant
• Ability to apply common sense and follow simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables

Training & Certifications

• Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures
• Must complete the training program prior to working a shift without supervision
• Must complete any other required training, including food and/or alcohol service certifications as mandated by local and state regulations
