Dishwasher

About the role

You will report to the Kitchen Manager and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pizza trays, glassware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. You will also assist with kitchen prep work and cleaning duties as needed, helping to provide an excellent guest experience and support our mission to make the best beverages and pizza in the most friendly and memorable environment possible.

This is a part-time position based in Saratoga Springs, NY, with mandatory availability Thursday–Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Wash, stack, sort, and store dishes, pizza trays, glassware, utensils, and cookware
• Maintain a clean kitchen and keep the dish area organized and free of clutter
• Set up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks
• Maintain clean, dry floors throughout the shift by sweeping and mopping
• Help other team members unload and store deliveries
• Clean kitchen appliances and machines as needed
• Take out trash
• Assist in prepping and portioning pizza toppings to ensure success of the pizza service
• Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock levels
• Keep work areas and the overall kitchen sanitized and clean
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to work consistently Thursday–Sunday
• Previous work experience as a Dishwasher in a professional setting preferred
• Must be 18 or older to apply
• A food handler’s license is preferred; ability to obtain is required
• Understand and adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
• Report sanitation issues promptly
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent illness
• Able to stand and walk for the entirety of the shift and lift up to 20 lbs regularly without assistance
• Able to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work cohesively in a team
• Excellent communication skills

Pay

Starting pay is $17.00/hr, with 1.5× your hourly rate on Sundays.
