About the role

Live the Island Life as an ambassador of Tommy Bahama's brand, offering 5-star food and service in a variety of rewarding positions including culinary, front of house, and management.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in restaurant leadership, inspiring your team to work together towards achieving goals and creating an aloha fun environment.
• Share knowledge on seasonal scratch cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and provide guests with world-class dining experiences.
• Actively participate in a team environment, demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote culinary success.
• Foster cleanliness, sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of high volume culinary/hospitality experience.
• A current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by federal/state/local law.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant skills including food/equipment/kitchenware/tableware storage and rotation, proper cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking of plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• General housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business.

Knowledge of Tommy Bahama's brand and its values, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
