The Dishwasher
- Responsible for washing and sanitizing flatware, glassware, and china.
- Maintains dish washing area to meet department of health standards.
- Removes trash and keeps exterior trash areas clean.
- Works closely with Executive Chef, Prep and Line cooks, and front of house employees.
- Ensures dishes are properly washed, sanitized, and returned to service.
Skills
- Keeps work areas, food storage areas, and garbage area clean and safe.
- Aids in inventory and supply management.
- Assumes full responsibility for product quality.
- Complies with department of health standards and food industry guidelines.
- Performs additional tasks as required.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Available on weekends and evenings.
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented and maintains high cleanliness standards.
- Fulfills instructions thoroughly.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards and health and safety regulations.
- Current Food Handlers card.
- Accurate and efficient in task execution.
- Maintains a clean station.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Uses hands and arms repetitively.
