Dishwasher

About the role

This position is working inside a jail/correctional facility at the Onslow County Jail. Shifts will be between 11 am–8 pm, five days a week, and will also require weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintain dishwashing station, sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report any issues to management
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adhere to Trinity Services Group safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensure security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1–3 months prior work experience preferred
• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Requires constant standing/walking
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
