Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Clean garbage cans
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Sweep and scrub floors
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
• Maintain trash room area, keep it in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform routine cleaning of kitchen space including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, moving dirty pots and pans and stocking clean equipment
• Perform daily sweep and mop of 1862 kitchen at 3pm
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to constantly go up and down stairs throughout the day
• Bending and lifting required
