Dishwasher

We are seeking an individual to work as a Dishwasher who ensures that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Complete a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.

Requirements

• Ability to work with little supervision and stay focused in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lb occasionally and up to 10 lb frequently.
• Minimum age of 18 years (or as required by state/local kitchen employment laws).
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Professional, composed, and approachable attitude.
