Dishwasher

About the Role

Dish Machine Operators/Utility team members maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils, practicing food safety and sanitation, restocking the kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift, and performing general cleaning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
• Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
• Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
• Maintaining all kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
• Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
• Displaying teamwork throughout the shift
• Following standardized recipes, preparation, portioning, and presentation procedures
• Maintaining organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas
• Adhering to proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and notifying management of items needing repair
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the restaurant
• Cross-training in other positions when opportunities are available

Requirements

• Good understanding of ingredients, kitchen safety, and hygiene
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs

No formal education background required.

Schedule

Part-time or full-time, hourly positions available with 10-40 hours weekly.
