Position available: Part Time (20+ hours a week)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all kitchen and food service areas.
• Operate and maintain the ware-washing system, including setup and breakdown.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and kitchen areas according to policy.
• Store food and non-food supplies properly.
• Assist with table setup, clearing tables, and supporting dining service as needed.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and resident rights policies at all times.
• Represent the community in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Work cooperatively with culinary team members and other departments.
• Attend required in-services, meetings, and trainings.
• Follow all community safety policies and report hazards or concerns promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
• Report to work as scheduled and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of dishwashing or utility experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
• Displays integrity, professionalism, and respect for residents and coworkers.
• Demonstrates genuine concern for the well-being of older adults and their families.
• Annnual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered).
