About the role
Sifted is hiring a Dishwasher/Porter on our culinary team. We need an extra team member in our kitchen who works well in a fast-paced environment and can help us maintain our food safety and cleanliness standards!
Responsibilities
- Dishwashing
- Receiving and storing food shipments
- Cleaning and organizing walk in and dry storage
- Cleaning and closing duties (trash, cardboard)
- Light food prep
- Communicating with chef and manager about any kitchen related issues
Requirements
- Has worked in previous kitchen roles such as line cook, prep/dishwasher, porter
- Has had experience with catering and event servicing
- Has excellent communication skills
- The ability to bend, twist, and stand
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

Pay and Benefits
- Compensation: $20 per hour

Job Type and Shift
- Job Type: Full Time
- Shift: Weekdays
- Weekly day range: Monday - Friday: 7am - 3pm
Eligibility
- This position must maintain ServSafe Food Handler card (company-paid)
Work Environment
- This is a position based both in a commercial kitchen and on-site in client offices
