About the role

Responsibilities
- Handles, washes, and polishes glass, silverware, china, pots, and pans utilized by the banquet and culinary staff.
- Polishes silver and copper chaffers and serving utensils like coffeepots, tea pots, trays, goose necks, and water pitchers.
- Stores items in assigned areas in a neat and organized manner.
- Disposes of garbage cans and cardboard waste from the culinary staff.
- Cleans dish machines weekly and kitchen equipment as needed by the executive chef.
- Cleans the back dock and employee cafeteria, and burnishes silverware as required.
- Completes plate ups and dish outs for banquets over 100 people, and disposes of broken glassware and dishes.
- Maintains cleanliness of hot boxes and ensures safety stations are stocked.
- Sweeps the back loading dock area and cleans the sanitation room and freight elevator.
Qualifications
- No formal education required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor, and fellow employees.
- Must be able to make appropriate judgements regarding the cleaning process.
- Frequent lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Walking, bending, and reaching frequently.

Pay
$16 per hour.
Schedule
Due to the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work rotating shifts, night shifts, and/or overtime. Hours may also be reduced during certain seasons.
