Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding spaces
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Absorb and assist kitchen staff by collecting dirty or used items from prep areas, service stations, or events
- Operate dishwashing machinery and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Follow all venue policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness
- Support team members in maintaining an efficient and collaborative kitchen environment
- Perform additional duties as requested by the culinary or management team
Qualifications
- Familiarity with kitchen safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work well under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment requiring focus and efficiency
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods, including moving between stations or up and down stairs
- Exposure to heat, humidity, cleaning chemicals, and occasional loud noise
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required to support business operations
