About The Role
You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be responsible for keeping up with the continual operation and maintenance of the dish station and will take part in other kitchen duties and opening/closing procedures. Dishwashers will be responsible for taking daily checks of chemicals and cleaning supplies, ensuring the organization and cleanliness of all janitorial areas, communicating needs or issues to managers, all while maintaining a reasonable level of organization and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dish station
- Daily checks of chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Maintain janitorial areas
- Complete additional tasks and/or ways to help other team members
- Follow all pFriem Kitchen checklists and guides
- Maintain quality, cleanliness, sanitation and professionalism regardless of business volume
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Routinely lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property
Qualifications
- Ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all taproom staff
- Self-motivated; able to look for additional tasks during slow times and utilize the side work sheets to direct your efforts
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver dish tubs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace and environment
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Able to work in a consistently busy restaurant environment
- At least 1+ year of prior kitchen experience in a restaurant
- Be available and reliable to work, and be consistently on-time
