About the role

Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Dishwasher. This position will consist of dish washing duties. This person must work well with others, must be punctual and maintain a clean environment. The dishwasher is vital to back of the house operations by assisting our line cooks, prep cooks, and servers to ensure clean serving items (plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, ramekins, and other items) are always readily available. Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing duties to keep serving items readily available
• Assist line cooks, prep cooks, and servers as needed
• Maintain cleanliness around the facility when Janitor is not on duty
• Learn and understand proper washing procedures for hazardous items (e.g., knives) before working first shift
• Work with a team and portray an upbeat, professional demeanor during shift
• Promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• Open availability
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check

Physical and mental requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day
• Repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling and reaching for entire shift
• May require exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

USD $16.90/Hr. – USD $18.00/Hr.
