Dishwasher

About the Role

Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Dishwasher to support back-of-house operations by ensuring clean serving items—plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, ramekins, and other items—are always readily available. This role is vital in assisting line cooks, prep cooks, and servers in a fast-paced environment with minimal downtime and supervision. Dishwashers are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing duties to ensure clean and sanitized serving items are available at all times.
• Properly wash and handle hazardous items, such as knives, following safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including facility cleanliness when a Janitor is not on duty.
• Work collaboratively with a team and maintain an upbeat, professional demeanor during shifts.
• Promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greetings and communication.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend at the neck for 6 or more hours a day.
• Repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.
• Potential exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Pay

USD $16.90–$18.00 per hour.
