We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. As a member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our dining facilities, supporting the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets.
• Clean and polish machine thoroughly including removing any paper and hosing down interior.
• Check machine to be sure it is operating correctly and report any defect immediately.
• Wash and store in proper places all dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and small equipment for the department.
• Check water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature.
• Report if temperature is not being met and switch to liquid sanitizer.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Remove trash from dish room, clean and sanitize garbage cans and keep liners in cans at all times.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the kitchen team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed.

Pay

$15 per hour competitive salary.
