Dishwasher

About the role

A Dishwasher is responsible for providing guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plates, glassware, and kitchen equipment. Duties include ensuring overall cleanliness of the kitchen and assisting with prep and general kitchen work while upholding safety and sanitation policies.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure dishes are cleaned, sanitized, and available as needed.
• Wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keep the dish area clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up the dish machine in the morning and close down the machine in the evening according to company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maintain safe food practices, including hand washing and use of safety equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Preferred: Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience.
• Willingness to learn more about kitchen and food preparation.

Schedule

• Days vary, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Hours vary, including evenings.
