Dishwasher

About the Role

We are seeking a Dishwasher who ensures that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines. Responsibilities

• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.

Requirements

• Ability to work with little supervision and stay focused in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented individual who can maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to maintain a composed, approachable, and professional attitude.
• This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
