About the Role

Your work here ensures guests receive clean and spotless china, silverware, and glassware. You provide support and assistance to Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers. You keep all areas clean, dry, and safe for other workers, while providing outstanding service to our guests. Some of your responsibilities include operating all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely, washing dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary, keeping the area clean and free of debris and water, restocking supplies and stock deliveries, and removing trash and debris from the restaurant regularly. You assist other restaurant personnel with tasks. At Kimpton, we all wear multiple hats, so you may need to take on responsibilities outside of this job description at times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive clean and spotless china, silverware, and glassware.
• Provide support and assistance to Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers.
• Keep all areas clean, dry, and safe for other workers.
• Restock all supplies and stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove all trash and debris from the restaurant routinely.
• Aid other restaurant personnel with tasks.

Requirements

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and training, and able to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
• Flexible schedule and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.50 to $17.50. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Santa Barbara, CA. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
