High Hampton is looking for individuals that enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment. This behind-the-scenes position is essential for our world-class kitchens to operate. Opportunities to learn cooking preparation methods while working alongside our talented team of chefs and cooks. This position has the potential for upward growth throughout our kitchen. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. This is a seasonal position from May through November, with the potential for continued, year-round employment based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and organize all cooking utensils, storage containers, and pots
• Sweep and mop upon arrival
• Lay down kitchen mats
• Operate and maintain the dish machine
• Assist waitstaff with glass storage
• Maintain plate cabinets and the pantry in an orderly fashion
• Empty all trash and recycling bins
• Scrub floors daily
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position
• Work well with other team members, managers, and interact with guests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Good communication skills; able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
• Basic knowledge and understanding of math
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be on feet for an extended period
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle or golf cart

Work environment

Professional kitchen; may occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions.

Pay

$17.00–$18.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
