About the Role

As a Dish Washer (Kitchen Team Member) you will love people by keeping dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, and other equipment clean so the restaurant can serve picture‑perfect food and craveable drinks. This fast‑paced, high‑volume position supports all areas of the restaurant, contributes to overall cleanliness and sanitation, and is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Schedule

Team members arrive early and are off by at least 3:30 pm each day. No dinner shifts are required.

Pay and Benefits

Responsibilities

• Scrap, scrub, spray, wash, and sanitize all pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. (≈70%).
• Complete assigned prep work, following recipes exactly as written (≈5%).
• Set up workstation (≈5%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (≈5%).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after shift (≈5%).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (≈5%).
• Aid with putting away deliveries (≈5%).

Qualifications

• Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on high and low shelves.
• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow recipes exactly as written.
• Capability to work fast, safely, efficiently, and accurately for up to 10 hours per day.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Effective communication in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to help with maintenance, prep‑cook duties, and assist other stations as needed.
• Proficiency with knives, slicing equipment, and other food‑preparation tools.
• Mobility required throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 lb up to 20 times per day.
• Ability to respond in emergencies to avoid imminent danger to self and others.

Physical Demands

• Navigate the restaurant and communicate with guests.
• Move and grasp items up to 5 lb regularly.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lb.
• Bend and stoop as needed.
• Maintain adequate vision to assess cleanliness and operate a touchscreen.
