Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing equipment
• Ensure that all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas
• Aid with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables, as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas
• Adhere to proper sanitation procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth flow of dishes and utensils during service
• Absorb any shortages of dishwashing supplies and report them to the supervisor

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Efficiency and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with the kitchen staff
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
