About the role

The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and atmosphere of our restaurant, ensuring guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stock by assisting chefs in keeping kitchens in full working order
• Retrives stock, cleans and sanitizes cooking and serving utensils and plates
• Runs dishes and utensils through dishwasher, unloads and organizes according to set guidelines
• Ensures a safe and clean work area by following sanitation standards and procedures
• Carries foodstuff and utensils to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators
• Stores foods in designated areas to minimize spoilage
• Maintains equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance
• Segregates and removes waste in accordance with company standards

Requirements

• Some high school education or equivalent
• Flexible scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
• Experience and/or training in hands-on equipment maintenance
• Understanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure a clean food preparation environment
• Proven teamwork skills
• Projects a professional image that inspires trust and confidence
• Enthusiastic and positive energy

Qualifications

• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch, and twist
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to withstand hot and humid environments for long periods of time
