About the Role

The Dishwasher is responsible for enhancing and supporting the overall dining experience for our residents, family members, and guests. This role involves the safe loading, running, and cleanliness of the dish machine, as well as maintaining a neat, clean, and organized dish area. The Dishwasher operates with The Sterling Touch®, providing professional, friendly, courteous, and timely service to ensure a high level of satisfaction for residents and their guests. This position reports to the Executive Chef and aligns with community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, run, and maintain the cleanliness of the dish machine.
• Ensure the dish area is neat, clean, and organized.
• Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service in a timely manner.
• Support the overall dining experience for residents, family members, and guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• One year or more of fine dining or restaurant experience, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
