Dishwasher

Job Description

Performs dishwashing responsibilities, ensuring silverware, dishware, pots and pans are cleaned to sanitation requirements and guest satisfaction is maintained.

Maintains dish machines and dishwashing area within sanitation guidelines.

Reports needed repairs to the Manager.

Assists with basic food preparation when needed.

Assists with food deliveries as directed by the supervisor and cleans and maintains coolers.

Sets goals to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation.

Requirements

• Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality work.

• Great people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department and policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Regular, timely attendance.
• Must demonstrate competency in reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task, i.e., handle several tasks at once while maintaining interactions between the restaurant and kitchen.
